I Forum of Exporters of the Moscow Region

On 28 November 2016, Izolyator took part in the I Forum of Exporters of the Moscow Regions held in the Government House of the Moscow Region.

The Forum was dedicated to the present issues of the export policy and targeted at development of practical solutions for perfection of the state support mechanism for non-resource exports.

Representatives of the Ministry of economic development of Russian Federation, Federal Customs Service, Russian export center, Federal Corporation on development of small and medium-sized businesses, Chamber of commerce and industry of Russian Federation and leading experts in foreign trade took part in the event.

Dmitry Abbakumov, Deputy Commercial Director at Izolyator also attended.

The total foreign trade turnover of the Moscow Region is about 4 billion USD with key exports destinations remaining Europe, Asia and the CIS countries. A new interesting partner appeared – Iran. Africa also looks promising for the companies of the Moscow Region. The number of exporters grew in 2016 reaching 68%.

A number of discussions between exporters was held in the following topics:

• Prospects for exporters and export-oriented small and mid-sized businesses promoting their products in foreign markets
• Realization of the state policy of exports support in the Moscow Region
• Access to external markets: international certification and intellectual property rights protection
• Exhibition as a tool to access export markets
• E-trade platforms as efficient forms of foreign partners identification
• Making big deals, efficient supply chain, customs regulations
• Credits for exporters, insurance

The Foreign Trade Promotion Fund of the Moscow Region signed cooperation memorandum with three partners: Bozrozhdenie Bank, Association of small and medium-sized exporters, Union of industrial manufacturers and entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region.

In order to realize the state policy on foreign activities promotion in the region and achieve targets, the Moscow Fund for Foreign Trade promotion in the Moscow Region by the Ministry of Investment and Innovations of the Moscow Region was established.

The key objective of the fund is to promote export activities among entrepreneurs assisting the companies of the Moscow Region in products and technologies foreign markets entry, raising their competitive ability and efficiency in export operations.
