The First National Import Substitution 2017 Forum

On 13 September 2017, Izolyator took part in the First national Import Substitution 2017 Forum in Moscow.

The National Import Substitution Forum is called to outline the development vector for sectors of economy in order to create import substituting goods and services and to draw attention to the problems of legislative and state support. The forum gives an impetus to further realization of industrial import substitution programs, search of new production mechanisms and sales channels. The event is organized by the Government of Russian Federation instruction with support from other federal executive bodies and government organizations. The forum is a central event of the business agenda of the annual International Specialized Import Substitution Exhibition.

The Import Substitution Exhibition is traditionally represented by a large business events program, but this year, for the first time, those events went under common concept of complex approach to realization of industrial programs (plants) of import substitution.

Agriculture and agribusiness, construction, power industry, high-tech, medicine and pharmaceutical industry, transportation, - all those sectors were in the focus of attention of numerous experts who gathered at the venue in Crocus Expo.

Izolyator took part in the Power industry section meeting.

During the strategic session “Technological development of fuel and energy industries” the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Izolyator Alexander Slavinsky made a report “Vector of development: from import substitution to export” covering import substitution issues in electrical engineering and summarizing experience of export promotion of domestic high-voltage bushings on global markets.
