Visit of R&D Center for Power Engineering and Uncomtech Managing Company

On 21 June 2017, management of the R&D Center for Power Engineering, the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System, and Uncomtech Managing Company visited Izolyator plant.

The R&D Center for Power Engineering conducts research and development in the electric power sector, provides engineering services, implements innovative solutions, conducts testing and certification of equipment, and carries out design of power grid networks. The company is a recognized leader in providing research, design and engineering solutions for the electric power and power pool system controls, generation and distribution of electric power, optimization of power transmission modes and systems, as well as design of power grids and energy facilities. A 100 % stake in R&D Center for Power Engineering is owned by Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System.

Uncomtech Managing Company exercises the rights of the individual executive body of Irkutskcable and Kirscable. The plants are among the largest cabling products manufacturers of Russian Federation.

R&D Center for Power Engineering was represented by the Deputy General Director Timofey Ryabin, Uncomtech Managing Company — by the General Director Igor Shaynoga.

The visitors were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Alexander Slavinsky and Commercial Director Ivan Panfilov.

The sides shared opinions on the recent market trends and achievements in power equipment engineering and new insulating materials application. They discussed common objectives and the strategy of long term cooperation.

The hosts arranged for a plant tour familiarizing the guests with the main production and testing stages of high-voltage RIP bushings.
