The XXVIII TRAVEK International Conference

On 7 and 8 November 2018, Izolyator participated in the XXVIII TRAVEK Association International Conference.

International Association on transformers, high voltage equipment, electrical ceramics and other spare parts and materials (International TRAVEK Association) implements the business cooperation, contributing to marketing, manufacturing and technology development, to ensure product competitiveness in world markets. Association holdings international symposia electrical elite countries-participants, organizes seminars and company presentations. Chairman of the Board of Directors at Izolyator, Dr. Alexander Slavinsky is Vice President of the International TRAVEK Association.

The international scientific and practical conference “Prospects of power industry and high-voltage electrical equipment development. Converter equipment, switching devices, microprocessor control and protection systems” went with support from the Russian Academy of Science, Academy of Electrical Sciences of Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, Rossiiskie seti PJSC, FGC UES PJSC.

Management and technical specialists of high-voltage equipment consumer companies, representatives of power equipment OEMs from Russia and abroad, leading scientists, designers, representatives of R&D and design organization and universities took part in the conference.

Izolyator was represented by Vice-President, International TRAVEK Association, CIGRE Study Committee D1 Regular Member, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Izolyator Alexander Slavinsky, EngD and Coordinator of the CIGRE Russian Study Committee D1, Deputy Quality director, Izolyator Vladimir Ustinov who made a report “Key trends in development and application of HVDC insulating systems, ecology and reliability (results of the 47th CIGRE session).

Participants of the conference produced a summary document that reflects the key achievements, mentioned in the reports of the conference speakers, attractive directions of equipment and energy systems development, recommendations for consumer companies and manufacturers of high-voltage electrical equipment.
