On 16 January 2018, a new fire pump station, made by Grundfos, was commissioned on the territory of Izolyator plant.
The Dutch Grundfos among other pumping equipment designs and supplies fire-fighting means from simple systems to highly technological engineering solutions and complex systems that meet virtually all current fire safety standards all over the world.
The station was designed and built in full compliance with the fire safety norms and requirements specified for industrial companies.
The station with two water storage tanks totaling 700 cubic meters is automated for maintenance of water level and pressure in fire mains and automatic positive engagement of the main and reserve pumps.
The pumping capacity of the fire pump station is over 60 liters of water per second.
