III Annual Procurement Forum MOESK

On December 18, 2018, Izolyator Plant took part in the III Annual Procurement Forum of the Moscow United Electric Grid Company arranged for its suppliers and contractors.

Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK) is one of the largest distribution electric grid companies of Russia. Main activity types — service rendering of electric power transmission and grid connection of consumers to electric networks on the territory of Moscow and Moscow region. “MOESK” takes in electric power from generating companies — subjects of wholesale and retail markets, from the grid of Unified National (All-Russian) Electric Grid and from the grids, situated in the adjacent entities of Russian Federation. Then through own grids it transfers electric power to final consumers, to adjacent grids (municipal unitary enterprises, wholesale consumers-resellers, to territorial grid organizations. Moscow United Electric Grid Company is a subsidiary of Rosseti Company.

The forum has been held for the third year in a row and gathers more than 100 representatives of small and mid-sized businesses. The main purpose of the event is to establish mutual cooperation with existing and potential participants in the company's trade and procurement activities as well as OEM manufacturers, business organizations and representatives of SMEs.

Such significant public organizations as Opora Russia and the SME Corporation became strategic partners and active participants of the Forum. The event was highlighted by presentations of experts from MOESK and Rosseti.

The Director of Tender Organization Department of MOESK, Ekaterina Bugrova thanked the participants for exceptionally high interest in the Forum and stated that the mission of MOESK during the event was to receive high-quality feedback from small and mid-sized businesses.

Ekaterina Bugrova presented different procurement procedures, currently approved process and rules for conducting special (procurement) auctions, procedure of signing contracts based on the auction results.

Presentations of the forum speakers provided deeper knowledge on many other aspects and guidelines on successful participation in the MOESK procurement procedures.

During the MOESK meetings with suppliers of power equipment, Izolyator was represented by Oleg Bakulin, Director of partner relations.
