National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan Recognized Izolyator’s Innovative Solution the Best

On 24 and 25 May 2018, National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan held a singled day of presentation “Innovations for power industry development”, where Izolyator HV RIN bushings were recognized the best innovative solution.

National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is an energy company that transports electric power via ETLs across the entire Kyrgyz Republic to distribution companies and large industrial consumers. National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is also a system operator that provides centralized control over the national grid of Kyrgyzstan. The task of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is to transmit power via national 110, 220 and 500 kV power lines to the consumers and control over the network and interstate and republican power flow modes.

That was a conclusion, derived by the Expert Board of the single day of presentation at NPG Kyrgyzstan, at the end of the event.

At the single day of presentation at NPG Kyrgyzstan, Izolyator was represented by Head of CIS & Baltics Sales Maxim Osipov and Lead Technical Support Specialist Victor Kiryukhin, who made a report “HV RIN bushings, made by Izolyator”.

The report was dedicated to the results of Izolyator’s research and testing of a next-generation type of internal insulation of high-voltage bushings – RIN insulation, which is represented by resin impregnated non-woven material.

The uniqueness of this insulation type is coming from the highly hydrophobic material, which is used for winding, and its resistance to the atmospheric moisture, helping to virtually exclude insulation moistening, should storage and operating rules be violated.

On the sidelines of the event, Maxim Osipov gave an interview to the civic radiochannel Birinchi Radio, which was later aired by this leading radio station in Kyrgyzstan.

In his statement, M.Osipov emphasized the importance and value of the opportunity of direct communication between manufacturers and consumers of power equipment, which was provided at the presentation day. He also marked the international status of the event and the corresponding level of organization.

The purpose of the single day of presentation is to familiarize the power engineers of Kyrgyzstan with innovative and competitive ideas, products and technologies in power sector and their implementation at power facilities of the country.

An event of such format was held in Kyrgyzstan for the first time.

World-known companies — main power equipment OEMs, such as Siemens, GE, Uralelectrotyazhmash, Tavrida Electric, SVEL Group — took part in the single day of presentation.

As part of the Innovations implementation program in 2018–2023 at the National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan, the single day of presentation is set be an annual event.
