Preparation for testing Izolyator-made Cable Coupling Sleeve

On 16 January 2018, Chief Designer of Izolyator Yury Nikitin took part in the preparation of the Izolyator-made designed cable coupling sleeve tests at the laboratory of the test center of the All-Russian R&D and Technological Institute of the cable industry in Podolsk, Moscow region.

The Test Center of the All-Russian R&D and Technological Institute of the cable industry (VNIICP) was established as a unique professional center for testing and research of cabling products and materials of cable production. The test center exercises a unique system approach, beginning with microscopic research of materials and ending with long-term full-scale testing of industrial samples.

The 220 kV cable coupling sleeve was placed in the test laboratory for carrying our long-duration tests.
