Visit to Backbone Power Grids of North-West

On 18 and 19 July 2018, Director of Strategic Sales at Izolyator Alexander Savinov visited the head office of the Backbone Power Grids of North-West in Saint Petersburg.

Backbone Power Grids of North West (MES North West) is a branch of FGC UES PJSC operating on the territory of the North-Western Federal District. The service area includes 11 Subjects of Russian Federation with a population of 14 mln people. MES North West is responsible for uninterruptible operation of power lines and substations with total transformer capacity over 38.7 MVA. The branch ensures electric connection of the unified energy system of North West with the power systems of Central Russia, Belarus and interchange to Finland, Estonia and Latvia.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the demands of MES North-West in high-voltage bushings till the end of the year, outlined plans of further interaction and discussed several other issues, related to cooperation.

The sides marked the successful longstanding experience of cooperation, expressing intention to continue development of all-round business relations, based on common goals and mutual interest.
