Visit to Backbone Power Grids of Volga

On 24 May 2018, Alexander Savinov, Director of Strategic Sales at Izolyator visited the head office of the Backbone Power Grids of Volga in Samara.

Backbone Power Grids of Volga (MES Volga) is a branch of FGC UES PJSC operating on the territory of the Mid Volga region of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. There are 8 subjects of the Russian Federation entering the service area with a total population of 17 mln people. MES Volga ensures fault-free operation of 12.1 thnd km of power lines and 87 substations with a total transformer capacity of 32.3 MVA. The branch ensures electric connection of UES Volga and the power systems of Central Russia and Urals.

During his visit, he discussed progress status of the joint projects and various aspects of practical coordination.

The sides clarified the nearest work schedule and agreed on the principles of further development of the mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation of MES Volga and Izolyator.
