Visit to Main Power System of the East

On 14 August 2018, Director of Strategic Sales at Izolyator Alexander Savinov visited Main power system of the East, branch of the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System.

Main power system of the East (MPS East) is a branch of FGC UES, operating in the Far-Eastern Federal District. There are five federal subjects with a population exceeding 5 million people in its service area. MPS East ensures a fault free operation of more than 15.5 thousand km of power lines and 89 substations of 220–500 kV voltage classes with total installed capacity over 14 774 MVA. The branch provides electric connection between the unified power grid of the East and the power grid of Siberia, and export of power to China. MPS East is headquartered in Khabarovsk.

The sides had talks, where MPS East representatives familiarized themselves with the advantages and specifics of construction design of Izolyator HV RIN bushings. The sides also covered topics of current coordination under existing agreements and prospects of further cooperation.

The partners expressed satisfaction with the achieved cooperation results and their intention to keep developing business relations on a long-term basis.
