Business Trip to India
On 9–13 April 2018, Dmitriy Orekhov, International Business Development Manager of Izolyator visited a number of electrical engineering companies and a regional power grid company in India.
Altogether, several business meetings took place in the following companies:

- Bharat Bijlee Limited,
- IMP Powers Ltd.,
- EMCO Limited
- Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd.,
- Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company limited.
Dr. Ashok Singh took part in all the meetings.
CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited
On 9 April 2018, Izolyator representatives paid a visit to CG power and Industrial Solutions Limited transformer plant in Mumbai.

Siemens Ltd.
On 10 April 2018, Izolyator representatives paid a business visit to the Siemens Ltd. transformer plant in Mumbai.

One of the world's largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies, Siemens is a leading supplier of efficient power generation and power transmission solutions and a pioneer in infrastructure solutions as well as automation, drive and software solutions for industry.
At Siemens, the guest were received by:

- Deepak Mahajan, Manager Purchase.
The talks began with an analysis of Siemens Ltd. demand in high-voltage RIP bushings, after which the sides came over to discussing the nearest and long-term plans of cooperation development.
Issues of coordination improvement between the companies had an important share of attention at the talks.

The meeting of Siemens Ltd and Izolyator representatives went in an atmosphere of mutual interest and constructive dialogue.
Bharat Bijlee Limited
On 10 April 2018, Izolyator representatives had talks at Bharat Bijlee Limited plant in Mumbai.
Bharat Bijlee is a pioneer in electrical engineering in India, and one of the most trusted names in the industry today. Established in 1946, its primary business segments are Transformers, Projects, Electric Motors, Elevator Systems and Drives & Automation. It caters to a spectrum of industries and the builders of the nation’s infrastructure: power, refineries, steel, cement, railways, machinery, construction and textiles. It also undertakes turnkey projects (switchyards) and is well positioned to provide complete ‘concept to commissioning’ services.
At Bharat Bijlee Limited, the guest were received by Subramanian, Sr. General Manager.
At the talks, the sides discussed possibility of Izolyator’s participation in Bharat Bijlee’s high-voltage bushings procurement program.
The sides paid their special attention to planning joint activities with identification of the most potentially promising cooperation initiatives.
The closing topic of the talks was connected with issues of optimization of practical coordination between the two companies.

IMP Powers Ltd.
On 11 April 2018, a business meeting at IMP Powers Ltd transformer plant took place in Mumbai.
IMP Powers Ltd. a flagship company of the $120 Million, IMP-Mangalam group is a name to be reckoned with in the manufacturing EHV, Power, Distribution, Special Purpose, Furnace, Thyristor Duty Transformers & Reactor up to 315 MVA 400 kV Class. Since 1961, the IMP brand has stood for manufacturing innovative, high quality and reliable electrical equipments starting with Measuring and Testing equipments including Energy meters, graduating to Auxillary and Distribution Transformers in the 70’s and then stepping further to Power & Special Transformers in mid 80’s. A separate part of the talks was dedicated to discussing coordination of the most efficient forms of coordination during cooperation.

EMCO Limited
On 11 April 2018, Izolyator representatives visited EMCO Limited transformer plant in Mumbai.
Founded in 1964, EMCO Limited is one of India’s leading products and solutions providers up to 765 kV/ ± 800 kV for power generation, transmission, distribution utilities and industry. The sides considered ways to use the widest possibilities offered by the production potential of Izolyator to satisfy the needs of EMCO Limited in high-voltage bushings. The sides shared a strong mutual interest in future joint projects and plans of long-term cooperation development.
The sides emphasized the need to further strengthen all forms of business ties between the companies.

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd.
On 12 April 2018, Izolyator had talks at Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd. transformer plant in Ahmedabad, India.
Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd (T&R), founded in 1994, makes power equipment including a wide range of transformers for domestic and global markets.
At T&R plant the guest were received by:
- Saumil Shah, General Manager, Purchasing,
- Vivek Raval, Purchasing Manager.
When talking about the T&R’s needs in high-voltage bushings, the sides discussed expected results and benefits of participating in large joint projects, speaking about the need to have a system planning that would bring together the interests of both companies.
The sides analyzed various aspects of the two companies’ interaction in order to develop business relations in an optimal way.

Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company limited
On 13 April 2018, Izolyator representatives paid a business visit to the regional power grid company Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company limited in Mumbai.
Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO), a wholly owned corporate entity under the Maharashtra Government, was incorporated under the Companies Act, in June, 2005 after restructuring the erstwhile Maharashtra State Electricity Board to transmit electricity from its point of Generation to its point of Distribution. It owns and operates most of Maharashtra's Electric Power Transmission System. MAHATRANSCO operates a transmission network of 46217.90 Circuit km of transmission lines and 660 EHV Substations with 123846.5 MVA transformation capacity. This infrastructure constitutes most of the inter regional as well as intra-regional electric power transmission system in the State. Today, MAHATRANSCO is the largest state transmission utility in the country.

The meeting started with a presentation about Izolyator and its products – high-voltage bushings with solid RIP insulation.
After discussing materials of the presentation and answering questions, the sides considered prospects of joint activities and outlined steps of cooperation development.
