Presentation of products in the RusHydro Federal Hydro-Generating Company

Oleg Bakulin, Director of Partner Relations at Izolyator, held a presentation of the company products at the Dagestan branch of the RusHydro Federal Hydro-Generating Company.

The Dagestan branch of the RusHydro Federal Hydro-Generating Company operates hydroelectric power plants with a total installed capacity of 1,885.5 MW, located in ten administrative districts of the Republic of Dagestan.

The hydroelectric power plants of the Dagestan branch ensure the stability of the operation of the United Energy System of the South (UES of the South) and cover the peak loads in the autumn-winter period. The Chirkeyskaya HPP, the largest in the North Caucasus, was introduced into the system of automatic regulation of active power flows of the UES of the South, as the main executive body.

The presentation took place at the head office of the branch in Kaspiysk.

The guest was received by the First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer Magomed Magomedov and Deputy Chief Engineer for Technical Affairs Magomed Suleymanov. The presentation was also attended by employees of the production and technical service of the Dagestan branch of the RusHydro Group.

During the presentation, high-voltage bushings with moisture-resistant internal RIN-insulation were presented: advantages and prospects of application at hydro-generating facilities, design and technological features, diagnostic methods and operational characteristics. Representatives of the branch management and technical specialists showed a high professional interest in this type of insulating equipment.

At the end of the presentation, a productive dialogue took place regarding the peculiarities of operation of Izolyator bushings installed at the power equipment of hydroelectric power plants of the Dagestan branch of RusHydro Group.
