Seminar of Izolyator Group of Companies in the Main Power System of North-West

On 14 July 2021, Izolyator Group had a technical seminar at the head office of the Main Power System of North-West in St. Petersburg.

Main Power System of North-West (MPS North-West) operating on the territory of the North-Western Federal District. MPS North-West ensures electric connection of the United Energy System of North-West with the power systems of Central Russia, Belarus and interchange to Finland, Estonia and Latvia. MPS North-West is headquartered in Saint-Petersburg. Main Power System of North-West is a branch of Rosseti FGC UES (Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System).

All four branch enterprises of Main Power System took part in the seminar remotely.

During the seminar, a presentation of the Izolyator Group was made:
- repositioning of the Izolyator brand due to diversification of production and expansion of its presence in the global electrical market;
- technical and operational advantages of high-voltage bushings with moisture-resistant solid internal RIN insulation, prospects for their use in the power grid;
- analysis of experience and features of operation of high-voltage bushings with RIP insulation;
- scope, design and advantages of cable accessories of 126–252 kV voltages manufactured by Izolyator-AKS.

Representatives of Izolyator Group gave detailed answers to all questions from the audience regarding the topics of the seminar.

MPS North-West’s specialists showed particular interest in innovative RIN insulation and a new line of activity of the Izolyator Group — the production of high-voltage cable fittings.
