Presentation of products at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex

On 29 March 2022, the Representative Office of Izolyator Group in Uzbekistan gave a presentation of the group's products at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (Almalyk MMC) is one of the largest enterprises in its industry in Uzbekistan, a producer of about 90 % of silver and 20 % of gold in the country, the largest copper producer in Central Asia. The core activity of the plant is the organization of production for the extraction and enrichment of ores of non-ferrous, precious, rare, precious and other metals, the production of refined copper, metallic zinc, precious and rare metals and their alloys, sulfuric acid and other related products. Almalyk MMC is located in the city of Almalyk, Tashkent region.

The event was attended by the Acting Chief Power Engineer of the Almalyk MMC Uzeir Ablyaev, and the chief power engineers of all divisions that are part of the plant.

Director of Representative Office of Izolyator Group in Uzbekistan Artur Nazarov, addressed the audience with an opening speech. He introduced the group, its structure and the activities of each of the divisions, including the development and production of the most advanced high-voltage insulation equipment.

Then, a detailed presentation ‘Technical and operational advantages and safety of high-voltage bushings with solid internal RIP- and moisture-resistant RIN-insulation’ was given the Technical Specialist of the Representation Timur Khuzyakhmetov.

Based on the results of the event, which aroused great professional interest among specialists, the Chief Power Engineer’s office of the Almalyk MMC expressed interest in replacing oil-filled high-voltage bushings with 20 years operation time installed on power transformers with their modern counterparts with RIN insulation.
