The first surveillance audit of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety

From 15 to 17 February 2022, the Izolyator Production Complex successfully passed the first supervisory audit of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety.

The Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (IMS) is a set of complementary management systems that function as a whole in accordance with the requirements of the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The Izolyator Production Complex is successfully operating a certified IMS, which contributes to the sustainable development of the complex, the increase of the level of competitiveness of its products in the world markets. IMS requirements are integrated into the business processes of the enterprise. There is a regular ongoing monitoring of the IMS within the framework of internal audits aimed at developing and improving the IMS.

The purpose of the audit, which took place remotely, was to confirm the compliance of the IMS with the established requirements.

The audit was performed by auditors of SGS Vostok Limited.

The auditors noted the teamwork and the good level of preparation of the enterprise for the first supervisory audit of the IMS, the motivation, involvement and commitment of the personnel of the enterprise to ensure the effective functioning of the IMS, which operates on a high level corresponding to the world’s leading companies.

During the audit, strengths were identified and recommendations were given for further development and improvement of the IMS. No inconsistencies were found.

The auditors made the following positive observations:

- leadership position at all levels of enterprise management;

- creation of a pilot production and procurement shop;

- expanding the functions of the Izolyator corporate university;

- introduction in the company of a system of adaptation of personnel, professional standards, a system of criteria for assessing personnel, conducting qualification tests for workers of working specialties;

- opening of a Representative Office of Izolyator Group in Uzbekistan;

- a large number of thank-you letters from clients;

- opening of the Izolyator corporate Internet portal;

- a decrease in the volume of waste sent to landfills in 2021 by 10.1 % compared to the previous year;

- putting into operation a bag filter-type gas purification unit to replace the previously operated units, which made it possible to achieve an efficiency of gas-air mixture purification up to 99 %;

- conducting behavioral audits in the field of health and safety, which allows to improve the production culture;

- the internal audit program demonstrates performance as a tool to maintain and improve the IMS.

Based on the results of the first supervisory audit, Izolyator Production Complex confirmed the validity of IMS compliance certificates with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
