The 21st International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products, Equipment and Materials for its Production — Cabex 2023

From March 14 to March 16 Moscow hosted the 21st International Exhibition of Cable and Wire Products, Equipment and Materials for its Production — Cabex 2023, in which the Izolyator Group took part.

Cabex is an international specialized exhibition of cable and wire products. Exhibitors are russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of cable and wire products, electric and electrical products, tools and equipment for cable installation, equipment and materials for the production of cable and wire products. Visitors of the exhibition are managers and specialists of specialized trade enterprises, construction and installation organizations, companies-end customers of cable and wire products, responsible for the selection of cable and wires, as well as related equipment and products. Every year, a rich scientific and technical program of business events is held within the framework of the Cabex exhibition.  The events of the business program cover a wide range of topical issues of cable and wire products production, as well as the use of cable and wires in key sectors of the Russian economy.

Exhibition organizers: International Exhibition Company, Russian Cable Scientific Research and Development Institute (VNIIKP), International Association ‘Electrocable’ (Electrocable Association).

The business program of the exhibition was attended by the Head of the Izolyator Group Alexander Slavinsky and the Technical Director of the high-voltage cable accessories plant Izolyator-AKS Viktor Pshennov, the exhibition was also attended by employees of the Izolyator-AKS plant and the R&D center of the Izolyator Group.

Viktor Pshennov made a presentation ‘Development and mastering the production of high-voltage outdoor termination and cable joints’ at the International Conference ‘Cable industry — Science. Technology. Production’, which was held as part of the Cabex 2023 business program.

The conference participants presented new developments, further prospects for the development of the power industry and ensuring its growth with the latest cable products, problems and opportunities for creating domestic materials for insulating systems for high and extra high voltage cables, current opportunities for supplying materials for the purposes of cables and wires production in Russia.

The Cabex exhibition expanded its thematic coverage and this year presented the entire technological chain: from materials and equipment for the production of cable and wire products to finished products.

As a result, sections of the exhibition have been updated, providing visitors with a wide choice of manufacturers and suppliers of cables, wires, cable accessories, electrical installation and electrical products, equipment and materials for the production of cable and wire products.
