Inspectors of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand emphasized the quality control system in production

On August 20–21, 2025, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand conducted a test inspection of the ordered 252 kV bushings with internal RIP insulation.

Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is a state-owned enterprise under the supervision of Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Finance. The principal mission of EGAT is electricity generation, electricity acquisition, and electricity sales to the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, the Provincial Electricity Authority, a number of direct customers by law, and neighboring countries. EGAT transmits electricity generated by its own power plants and electricity purchased from private power producers through its own grid network covering all parts of the country. EGAT’s transmission lines comprise different voltages ranging from 500 kV, 230 kV, 132 kV, 115 kV, and 69 kV. EGAT's head office is located in Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi.

The tests were conducted in full compliance with the approved program and were completed successfully.

EGAT representatives also inspected the production facility, where they became particularly familiar with the process of winding the internal insulation of high-voltage bushings.

The guests noted the scale of production and the high level of quality control of materials and products based on the results of each technological stage, which ultimately ensures high reliability of the products.
