Testing at KEMA Laboratories Prague, Czech Republic

From August 23 to 27, 2019, transformer manufactured by the Uralelectrotyazhmash plant equipped with Izolyator high-voltage bushings was tested at the KEMA Laboratories Prague in the Czech Republic.

DNV GL — KEMA Laboratories Test Certificate is internationally recognized. It is the guarantor of an independent and objective technical assessment of operational characteristics of equipment for electricity transmission and distribution.

A 40 MVA transformer, equipped with 126 kV / 800 A bushings with internal RIP insulation, was tested for resistance to short-circuit. These unique tests can only be carried out in a few laboratories around the world.

The Izolyator plant was represented by Vladimir Ustinov, Deputy Quality Director, and Maxim Zagrebin, Head of OEM Sales.
