On 16 June 2020, Izolyator held a meeting on the development of an integrated system of quality management, ecology, labor safety and health protection.
The Integrated Management System (IMS) at Izolyator is a combination of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

The main objective of the company in the field of environmental protection is the consistent reduction of the negative impact of the enterprise on the environment.
The principle task for labor safety and health protection is to increase the safety of working conditions for company employees, and to minimize the risks of deterioration of the health condition of our employees.
In continuation of the activities on reengineering IMS processes, the company management prepared and held a meeting on updating the Izolyator process model in connection with a change in the organizational structure of the company management.

After discussions, which were actively supported by company employees, it was decided to approve the new Izolyator process model, develop passports for IMS processes, and implement an Action Plan for updating documented IMS information.
The second issue on the meeting agenda was the Izolyator production system development project. Director of Production Development Alexander Pankratov and Leading Specialist in the Production Development Sergey Zhdanov introduced the audience to the Lean Production system, namely, the history of the system, its principles and goals, application practice, basic methods and tools, advantages, examples of implementation in Russia, the key stages of system implementation.
The Lean Manufacturing system aims to constantly strive to reduce and eliminate all types of losses.
The company management decided to approve the concept of development of the enterprise’s production system with the introduction of the basic methods and tools of the Lean Production system aimed at optimizing production processes and achieving the effectiveness of the enterprise.

Izolyator specialists were instructed to prepare and submit for approval to the management a plan of measures for the development of the enterprise’s production system for 2020, as well as a long-term plan of measures for the development of the production system, taking into account the planning horizon until 2022.
