Modernization of the electrochemical laboratory of the Izolyator Production Complex

On 20 July 2021, the modernization of the electrochemical laboratory was completed at the Izolyator Production Complex.

The fully implemented project provided for the modernization of the premises of the electrochemical laboratory (ECL) and its equipping with new laboratory furniture and equipment that meet modern requirements for the quality of tests and measurements.

The modernization of the premises was carried out in accordance with a specially developed architectural and design project, taking into account all the specifics of the tasks assigned to the ECL.

The ECL room is divided into functional zones: electrical tests, incoming control, process control. Also, in the ECL room, a metrology bureau section is equipped for the convenience of checking the measuring instruments of the shops.

ECL equipment includes new laboratory furniture from leading manufacturers and specialized equipment that meets high accuracy standards, for example: a coulometric titrator, an electronic scale of the 1st accuracy class, a liquid contamination measuring device, an oil breakdown voltage tester, a material resistance meter, a high-voltage AC bridge, dispensers of volumes.

The documentation management was updated, the results of ECL tests were entered into the automated information system of the enterprise.

All laboratory staff, highly qualified specialists, are provided with personal computers with access to the latest versions of regulatory documents in the Techexpert professional reference system and have the opportunity to take distance learning in the format of webinars.

The electrochemical laboratory is a structure of the test center of the Testing and Metrology Service of the Izolyator Production Complex.

The electrochemical laboratory is engaged in incoming control of raw materials and materials supplied to production in order to verify their compliance with applicable standards and regulations; issuance of conclusions on the compliance of the investigated samples of raw materials and materials with the requirements of standards, technological conditions and regulations; control of products of technological processes in order to verify their compliance with technological operations and adherence to technological discipline.
