Siemens AG Makes a Production Audit
On 26–28 April 2017, Izolyator plant passed a production audit, done by Siemens AG Concern.
Siemens AG (Berlin and Munich) is a global technology powerhouse that has stood for engineering excellence, innovation, quality, reliability and internationality for more than 165 years. The company is active in more than 200 countries, focusing on the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization. One of the world's largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies, Siemens is a leading supplier of efficient power generation and power transmission solutions and a pioneer in infrastructure solutions as well as automation, drive and software solutions for industry.
The audit was called to reconfirm the results of the previous audit of Siemens AG Concern.
Izolyator plant received a commission of three auditor from Germany and two representatives of Siemens Transformers from Voronezh, Russia.
Izolyator’s staff members actively engaged in audit procedures:
- Alexander Shornikov, Technical Director
- Alexander Novikov, Quality Director
- Dmitry Abbakumov, Dpty Commercial Director
- Yaroslav Sedov, Head of EU sales.
The auditors made a close acquaintance with production processes and stages of quality control in design, production, testing and internal logistics of high-voltage bushings. All necessary explanations, technical and process documentation were fully provided on first request.
The audit procedures went according to the schedule and had a positive ending.
