Talks With SuperOx Management

On 7 March 2017, Izolyator had talks with SuperOx management.

Andrey Vavilov founded SuperOx in 2006 with a goal to establish production of second generation high temperature superconducting tapes (2G HTS). The company’s intellectual property is based on more than the 30-year experience in deposition of complex oxide coatings and studying properties of HTS materials. SuperOx is headquartered in Russia and Japan.

Sergey Samoylenkov, General Director, led SuperOx delegation.

Alexander Slavinsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Konstantin Sipilkin, R&D Director represented Izolyator at talks.

The meeting opened with finalizing discussion of the successful results of the joint 110 kV bushing tests at -200 ºС that were earlier performed at Izolyator plant.

In the main part of the meeting, the partners clarified strategic objectives and targets of the long term scientific and technical cooperation, spoke about prospective directions of joint activities on the way to efficient cooperation.

The sides expressed intention to actively develop cooperation and apply every effort in pursuit of the common goals.

The hosts arranged for a plant tour, familiarizing the visitors with the main production and testing stages of high-voltage bushings.
