Visit to Krasnoyarsk HPP
On 25 May 2017, Oleg Bakulin, Director on Partner Relations at Izolyator visited Krasnoyarsk hydropower plant.
Krasnoyarsk HPP operates in the Krasnoyarsk energy system of the Unified Power System of Siberia. The average annual output of the Krasnoyarsk HPP is 18.3 billion kWh. In terms of the installed capacity of 6,000 MW, the hydroelectric power plant ranks second in Russia and is one of the ten largest hydroelectric power plants in the world. In Russian production, the share of electricity from the Krasnoyarsk HPP is up to 2.8 %, while the share in the volume of hydroelectric power generation reaches 13.5 %. The plant is a subsidiary of the EuroSibEnergo energy company, which manages the energy assets of the Russian industrial En+ Group.
The guest was received by the deputy Director of Main Production and Maintenance Directorate Vyacheslav Latyshev and the Head of the Electric Shop Alexander Khikhol.
At the meeting, Oleg Bakulin introduced Izolyator’s most recent development in reliability and operational excellence of high-voltage bushings. The sides discussed cooperation plans in the near and remote prospects.
