Visit to Mehru Plant

On 7 December 2017, representatives of FGC UES and Izolyator visited the transformer plant of Mehru Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (P) Ltd. in Gurgaon, India.

Mehru Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (P) Ltd. manufactures Instrument Transformers up to 420 kV. Mehru is one of the leading suppliers of Instrument Transformers to numerous clients not only in India but all over the world.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PowerGrid) recommended the Russian representatives to visit one of the three manufacturing facilities of Mehru, located in the vicinity of PowerGrid’s headquarter, to familiarize themselves with the work of India’s manufacturers of high-voltage equipment of the highest rated voltages.

The Russian visitors:

• Kirill Lunin, Deputy Head of Innovative Development, FGC UES PJSC;
• Ivan Panfilov, Commercial Director, Izolyator;
• Andrey Shornikov, Head of International Business Development dept., Izolyator;
• Dr. Ashok Singh, Partner of Izolyator in India.

At Mehru plant, the guests were received by:

• Sandeep Prakash Sharma, Executive Director, Mehru;
• Ashwani Aggarwal, Managing Director, Nu-Cork Products (P) Ltd.

The visit showed that Mehru is a professional manufacturer of high-voltage equipment putting the product quality above all as its biggest value.

The company supplies its equipment to such countries and continents as Latin America, South Africa, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia and others.
