On 2–5 july 2018, International Business Development Manager at Izolyator Dmitriy Orekhov visited Indian power grid and electrical engineering companies.

He had business meetings, talk and a workshop in these companies:

  • Power Grid Corporation of India Limited,
  • IMP Powers Ltd.,
  • CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited,
  • EMCO Limited,
  • GE T&D India Ltd,
  • Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.,
  • Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited.

Dr. Ashok Singh took part in all those meetings.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited

On 2 July 2018, Izolyator plant’s representative visited the state Indian Power grid operator Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.

Logo Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PowerGrid) is an India-based state company, engaged in construction, operation and maintenance of the bulk power lines network. PowerGrid is one of the largest power grid companies of the world. It is largely involved in construction and operation of power networks in India and strengthening and developing of ties with the neighboring countries: Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka. The company’s core business is transmission of bulk power across the states of India via 765, 400, 220, 132 kV alternating current and ±500 kV direct current power lines that together make up the inter-state transmission system (ISTS).

IMP Powers Ltd.

On 3 July 2018, Izolyator plant representative gave an open workshop for technical specialists of transformer equipment manufacturer IMP Powers Ltd.

Logo IMP Powers Ltd. a flagship company of the $120 Million, IMP-Mangalam group is a name to be reckoned with in the manufacturing EHV, Power, Distribution, Special Purpose, Furnace, Thyristor Duty Transformers & Reactor up to 315 MVA 400 kV Class. Starting early 2000’s IMP has leapfrogged its nearest competitors by entering the EHV sector (220 kV and 400 kV) and has become one of the Top Five Transformer manufacturing companies in India in 132/220 kV Class, with an installed base over 35,000 transformers across the globe.

The workshop opened with a presentation about Izolyator and its products, followed by an open dialogue about the advantages of application and specifics of operation of high-voltage bushings with solid internal RIP insulation.

The sides also had talks concerning prospects and technical capabilities of equipping IMP Powers Ltd transformers with Izolyator bushings.

On 4 July 2018, we had talks at the transformer plant of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited in Mumbai.

On 4 July 2018, our representative had a business meeting at the transformer plant EMCO Limited.

The meeting was dedicated to coordination of works in the joint projects so that to optimize common effort and effectively move forward towards creating modern and highly demanded power equipment.

The sides agreed on further interaction and discussed a comprehensive set of measures of cooperation development in the near and distant future.

GE T&D India Ltd

On 5 July 2018, Izolyator representative visited electrical engineering company GE T&D India Ltd.

Logo GE T&D India Ltd manufactures long distance transmission equipment, such as switchgears for air insulated substations or gas insulated substations, circuit breakers, power transformers, and instrument transformers. The company engages in the power transmission and related activities in India and internationally. GE T&D India Ltd plant located in Vadodara.

At the talks, the sides considered promising areas of mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation of the two companies.

They discussed technical and commercial aspects of future projects, taking into account prevailing power equipment market trends.

Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.

On 5 July 2018, Izolyator representative visited the transformer plant Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd.

Logo Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. (TTDI) produces transformers. The company was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Medak, India. Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems group is a world leader in the supply of integrated solutions for energy Transmission & Distribution.  Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Toshiba Corporation. TTDI plant located in Hyderabad.

The guest was received by DGM — Procurement Atmaram Shinde.

The meeting was mainly about the companies’ participation in future common projects and efficient interaction in the process.

The sides discussed issues of coordinated and efficient utilization of technological and production potentials of both companies for bidding to power equipment buyers.

Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited

On 5 July 2018, we had talks at the state regional power grid company Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited.

Logo The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) was founded in the result of India’s power industry reform. Initially the power company of Andhra Pradesh State APSEB, which came into existence in 1959, was responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. In 1998 under Electricity Sector Reforms agenda, the State Government promulgated APSEB division into a generating company (APGENCO), a transmission company (APTRANSCO) and four distribution companies (APDISCOMs). In 2014 APTRANSCO was divided into regional network companies: TSTRANSCO and APTRANSCO. The central headquarter of TSTRANSCO is in Hyderabad.

The visitor was received by Mr. Suryaprakash.

At the talks, the sides discussed TSTRANSCO’s planned measures to equip its power complex facilities with reliable high-voltage bushings, designed to the most advanced technologies.

The sides agreed to carry on developing business relations, based on common goals and understanding of existing trends in creation and application of modern power equipment.

All the meetings of the business agenda of the trip went successfully. The results will be used for further development of cooperation with Indian partners and strengthening business ties between Russia and India.
