Installation of the First in Belarus 750 kV RIP Bushing
On 4–5 September 2018, Izolyator participated in the installation of the first in Belarus HV RIP bushing with rated voltage 750 kV.
The bushing was installed in a shunt reactor RODC-1100000/750 U1, made by Electrozavod, at the 750 kV S/S Belorusskaya.
750 kV Belarusian substation, being the most powerful and backbone SS in Belarus, serves to ensure reliable links in the unified energy system of the country between the regional systems and systems of Russia, Lithuania and Latvia. The substation allows to create reliable power supply routes in conditions of repairs and maintenance works on power facilities. The 750 kV Belarusian substation is on the balance of the Republican unitary enterprise Minskenergo.
Izolyator RIP bushing replaced the counterpart with oil-in-paper insulation, which was in operation before.
Dmitry Mashinistov, Head of SVN Service represented Izolyator at the installation works.
Vyacheslav Maskalik, Chief of the 750 kV S/S Belorusskaya executed overall supervision over the works. Anatoly Tereschuk, Lead Engineer at the representative office of Slovenian engineering company Riko, d.o.o. in Belarus took an active part in the installation.
Upon completion of all works, the engineers checked the electric parameters of the bushing’s insulations — they met all requirements of the manufacturer’s manual.
The 750 kV RIP bushing installation became a landmark event and another practical result of the longstanding and successful cooperation with the Belarusian power engineers.
