Working Meeting at the Interregional Distribution Grid Company of South
On 31 October 2019, Alexander Savinov, Director of Strategic Sales at Izolyator plant, held a working meeting at the Interregional Distribution Grid Company of South in Rostov-on-Don.
The Interregional Distribution Grid Company of South (IDGC South) is a 0.4–110 kV lines operator that has utility connections to the unified national power grid with dominating share on the transportation and distribution market of the Southern Federal District of Russian Federation.
The service area of the company is 334900 square kilometers (almost 2 % of Russia’s territory) with a population exceeding over 8 mln people.
The company is headquartered in Rostov-on-Don.
IDGC South is a daughter company of Rosseti Group power grid company.
The guest was received by Pavel Goncharov, Deputy Director General for Technical Issues — Chief Engineer of IDGC South.

At the talks, the parties discussed the results of joint activities and areas for further improving everyday interaction in the implementation of existing agreements.
Noting the successful experience of cooperation, the parties outlined and agreed on a preliminary plan for the development of business relations in the near and medium term.
Among other things, and in accordance with the decisions of the July meeting of the Technical Council of Rosseti, this plan includes measures to improve the qualifications of the administrative and technical personnel of IDGC South on topic ‘High-voltage equipment. High-voltage bushings’.
