The VI Conference ‘Development and Improvement of Operation Reliability of Distribution Power Grids’

On 29 and 30 June 2021, Izolyator took part in the VI All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference Development and Improvement of Operation Reliability of Distribution Power Grids’ in Moscow.

The All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference ‘Development and Improvement of Operation Reliability of Distribution Power Networks’ is called to discuss topical issues of implementing the concept of digital transformation of the power grid complex, optimization of power grid infrastructure and technological processes, and improvement of the technical policy of power grid companies.

The conference pays great attention to practical aspects and new solutions related to operation of electrical networks, including the organization of works under voltage in distribution networks.

The conference was organized by Rosseti Group of companies in partnership with the Moscow United Energy Company and with the assistance of the CIS Electric Power Council and the Electric Power. Transmission and Distribution Magazine.

Over 400 professionals — representatives of the largest power grid companies in Russia and the neighboring countries, power equipment OEMs and service providers for electric power companies, experts from industry authorities and organizations and scientists discussed topical issues facing the power distribution grid complex and the most effective solutions that can ensure optimal functioning and development of distribution networks.

On behalf of all the organizers of the scientific and technical conference, First Deputy Director General and Chief Engineer of Rosseti Group Andrey Mayorov addressed the participants with a welcome speech. He stressed the important role of the distribution grid complex in the overall structure of the power system: ‘Distribution networks are the last mile, this is our connection with the consumer, and this imposes a special responsibility on the relevant organizations in terms of ensuring a reliable and high-quality power supply’.
