New Izolyator products are presented in the Main power system of the Volga Region

On 12 August 2021, Izolyator presented new products in the Main power system of the Volga Region.

Main power system of the Volga Region (MPS Volga) operating on the territory of the Volga region. There are 9 subjects of the Russian Federation entering the service area with a total population of 16 mln people. MPS Volga ensures electric connection of United Energy System of Volga and the power systems of Central Russia and Urals. MPS Volga is headquartered in Samara. Main power system of the Volga Region is a branch of Rosseti FGC UES.

At the head office of MPS Volga in Samara, the event was attended by the Head of the Substation Service Dmitry Doronin and Lead Engineers Substation Operation and Diagnostics Department Yury Kurbatsky and Vladimir Yurtaev.

In the videoconference mode, the event was also attended by the managers and specialists of all enterprises of the Main Power Systems of Volga.

Sales and Business Development Director in Russia at Izolyator Production Complex Alexander Savinov spoke on the repositioning of the Izolyator brand as the result of a deeply thought-out strategy for mastering new types of products and services.

Alexander Savinov also presented an innovative product of Izolyator — high-voltage bushings with moisture-resistant internal RIN insulation. The advantages of these bushings over counterparts with other types of insulation, design features and the range of operating conditions were considered.

Separately, Alexander Savinov dwelled on the analysis and generalization of the results of operating experience of Izolyator high-voltage bushings in the power grid complex, which aroused particular interest with practitioners.

Production Process Engineer at Izolyator-AKS Alexander Filippov familiarized the audience with high-voltage cable accessories, which are designed and manufactured using the most modern technologies.

Based on vast experience and unique production, scientific and technical base of the plant, the management of Izolyator decided to diversify production and expand the product range by creating its own production of high-voltage cable accessories of all types — Izolyator-AKS as part of the import substitution program.

The entire presentation was accompanied by an interested and active dialogue aimed at further developing cooperation between MPS Volga and Izolyator.
