In 2022, 70 clusters in 8 industries are being created in the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region has decided that two clusters will be developed in the region — metallurgy and mechanical engineering. The main resource center for ‘Metallurgy’ in the Moscow region are the Sergiev Posad College and the Zagorsk Pipe Plant. They demonstrated to the participants of the round table their results, which they were able to achieve during the year of participation in the project, and offered their material base for the training of workers from other colleges registered in the project.

The federal project ‘Professionalitet’ is aimed at a comprehensive restructuring of the system of secondary vocational education in cooperation with enterprises, the transition to a sectoral approach to training personnel with financing of the result, and not the learning process.

The Professionalitet Project contains three key initiatives. The first is the integration of colleges and enterprises in the real sector of the economy through the creation of educational and industrial clusters. The second is the introduction of new educational programs (professionalitet), which, among other things, provide for the optimization of training terms. And the third is the reconstruction of the state system of training teachers for secondary vocational education.

The project developer is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The implementation of the project activities is carried out with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
