The creation of a Russian-Brazilian joint venture with the participation of the Izolyator Group has been launched

22–26 of February 2025 Izolyator Group took part in the 16th Elecrama World Electricity Forum, held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The Elecrama World Electricity Forum is the flagship showcase of the Indian Electrical Industry ecosystem. The Elecrama is a platform to connect the world with Indian industry in respect of technology, new trends and innovation for future energy transition. Featuring not just equipment & technology, Elecrama offers peerless thought leadership platforms for everything electric — from technical conclaves, seminars, conferences to industry summits. The organizer of the forum is the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA).

The delegation of the Izolyator Group, headed by Alexander Slavinsky, included Commercial Director for Exports and Equipment Manufacturers Dmitriy Orekhov, Chief Engineer of the R&D Center Pavel Kiryukhin and Head for Exports and Equipment Manufacturers Ivan Mikoyan.

The most significant events for Izolyator at the forum were the signing of an agreement on the creation of a Russian-Brazilian joint venture, as well as a presentation of Russian-Indian projects in the field of equipment production for the delegation of the Rosseti Group.

The joint exhibition showcased Izolyator high-voltage cable accessories of all types for a voltage of 126 kV, instrument transformers manufactured by Mehru Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (P) Ltd., with which the Izolyator Group has long-standing and close cooperation in the Indian market, as well as a transformer bushing for a voltage of 420 kV with solid internal RIP insulation manufactured by the Indian high-voltage bushing plant MIM — the flagship in terms of voltage in the production range of the enterprise.

The agreement on the establishment of a Russian-Brazilian joint venture opens a new chapter in the development of international cooperation of the Izolyator Group of companies and provides for a large-scale project to organize the production of electrical equipment.

The key element of the project will be the construction of a plant specializing in the assembly of high-voltage bushings. The project provides for a phased development of production: at the first stage, an assembly line will be organized, which will allow for the establishment of primary production and the development of all processes. In the future, it is planned to fully localize the production cycle, which will take cooperation to a new level.

The choice of Brazil as a site for the project is not accidental. This decision opens up broad opportunities for entering promising Latin American markets. The creation of a production base will not only optimize logistics chains, but also adapt products to local requirements, which is especially important for successful business development in a new region.

The combined exposition has become a real point of attraction for numerous delegations at the Elecrama exhibition, as well as a kind of "Russian home" for Russian visitors.

In turn, representatives of the Izolyator Group of companies, as part of the delegation of the Russian grid complex, visited the exhibition offices of leading Indian manufacturers and organizations, where they held a number of productive meetings on the prospects for developing partnerships. One of these meetings took place at the stand of the Ministry of Power, the other — of the engineering conglomerate CG Power and Industrial Solutions.
