A summary of a business trip to Europe

On 23-25 June 2015, Ivan Panfilov, Commercial Director, First Deputy General Director, Yaroslav Sedov, Foreign Trader Manager at Izolyator and Giuliano Bertolazzi, Izolyator’s Official Representative in Europe made a business trip to Belgium and Italy.

On 23 June, Izolyator representatives visited Elia company in Brussels, Belgium.

Elia is a power grid company - system operator of the unified power grid in Belgium. Elia operates the high-voltage (30 kV to 380 kV) electricity transmission system.

From Elia side Izolyator representatives were received by:

On 24 June, Izolyator representatives visited Tamini Trasformatori S.r.l. in Meleniano, Italy.

Tamini Trasformatori S.r.l. is a transformer plant in Tamini Group that makes industrial and special medium-power transformers. The production facilities include:

- Manufacture and testing grounds for transformers up to 100 MVA and 230 kV

- Load lifting facilities up to 150 ton.

On 25 June, Izolyator representatives visited Getra S.p.A. in Marcianise, Italy.

Getra is a leading industrial group in the production of large power, medium power and distribution transformers, and in the development of components and systems for the interconnection of electricity grids. A sector in which Getra boasts a leading position in Italy and in Europe and is at the forefront in the most important global markets. The Getra Group is made up of the Getra S.p.A holding company and five controlled companies. Each of these has its own specific identity, while at the same time working in synergy.

In all receiving companies Izolyator made a corporate presentation with product range. The sides shared experience on power equipment operation and discussed global market trends. A special focus was given to prospective transition to RIP-insulated bushings in transformer industry. A number of cooperation topics were discussed.
