Business Trip to Europe

On 19–22 September 2017, Izolyator representatives visited several electrical engineering companies in Europe and had talks about cooperation development in respect to power equipment delivery.

The group included:

  • Yaroslav Sedov, Head of EU sales
  • Victoria Loshchinina, Manager of International Business Development dept.

On 19 September 2017, Izolyator representatives had a meeting at CG Power Systems Belgium NV — Power Transformer Division in Mechelen, Belgium.

The partners discussed the current situation on the market of power equipment in Belgium, previous shipments of Izolyator equipment, technical specifics of high-voltage RIP bushings’ operation and future projects.

Izolyator became the first supplier of HV RIP bushings to Belgium, which realizes a large-scale transition program from oil-in-paper bushings to RIP technology.

On 20 September 2017, Izolyator representative paid a working visit to the manufacturing facility of power oil transformers of ETD Transformatory in Plzen, Czech Republic.

ETD transformers (Czech Republic) experience in the production of distribution, power and other various types of world class transformers reaches back to the year 1923. Current products include power transformers (single and three phased regulating and non regulating), auto transformers, furnace transformers, traction transformers and chokes for use in the rail industry as well as special reactors. ETD transformers are designed, manufactured, tested and transported to customers world wide.

The parties discussed issues of long term cooperation development and opportunities of Izolyator high-voltage RIP bushings application in power grid facilities in Czech Republic.

On 21 September 2017, Izolyator representatives had talks at JST Transformateurs plant in Lion, France.

Based in Lyon, France, where the transformers are designed, JST‘s activity consists of 3 different sectors: Power, Traction, Services.

Frederic Palmer, Head of Purchasing and Logistics received Izolyator representatives who presented Izolyator plant and its product range to their French colleagues.

Among other aspects, Izolyator’s foreign trade activities and HV bushings supply reference on the European power equipment market were presented.

The sides agreed on further long-term cooperation.

On 22 September 2017, Izolyator representatives visited GE Grid Solutions plant in Villeurbanne, France.
