Meeting of the Power Electrical Equipment Workgroup

On 29 May 2017, Izolyator accepted Rosseti PJSC invitation to take part in a meeting of Power electrical equipment workgroup of the Multiagency Coordination Council on issues of power equipment building, power engineering and cabling industries development.

Rosseti, Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC Rosseti) — an operator of energy grids in Russia, is one of the largest electric companies in the world. The company maintains 2.30 million km of power transmission lines, 490,000 substations with transformer capacity of more than 761 GW. Dmitry Gordeev, Chief Engineer at Rosseti PJSC chaired the meeting of the workgroup.

Daughter and affiliated companies of Rosseti PJSC, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, leading Russian power equipment OEMs and industry players took part at the meeting.

Izolyator was represented by Alexander Slavinsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Considering the workgroup objectives, the meeting attendees marked the necessity of the project roadmap creation that unites all areas of activities of the workgroup — types of electrical equipment.

Thus, the heads of directions within the workgroup were tasked with creation of roadmaps projects by types of equipment, including high-voltage bushings.

Discussion of the roadmaps by types of equipment will be held during the next meeting of the Power electrical equipment workgroup on 20 June 2017.
