Workshop Meeting at the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan
On 18–20 April 2017, Izolyator took part in an international workshop “2016 maintenance campaign summary, objectives for 2017 and organization of high-voltage substations equipment operation”, which was held on in the High-voltage power grids enterprise, branch of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan JSC in Osh.
National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan JSC is an energy company that transports electric power via ETLs across the entire Kyrgyz Republic to distribution companies and large industrial consumers. National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan JSC is also a system operator that provides centralized control over the national grid of Kyrgyzstan. The task of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan JSC is to transmit power via national 110, 220 and 500 kV power lines to the consumers and control over the network and interstate and republican power flow modes.
The technical director of NEG Kyrgyzstan Zholdoshbek Achikeev, the Maintenance and repairs service Chief Murat Kalkabaev and the specialists of his department, specialists of all branches of NEG Kyrgyzstan as well as representatives of power equipment plants took part in the workshop.
Izolyator was represented by the Head of CIS Sales Maxim Osipov and the Head of the Design Bureau Victor Kiryukhin.
The workshop facilitated dialogue and all-round discussion of organizational and technical aspects of maintenance and repair of power equipment used in HV substations of NEG Kyrgyzstan. The attendees of the event shared their experience in maintenance planning. The listeners also learned about new methods of monitoring of power facilities condition and maintenance.
During the workshop, the hosts arranged for a group visit to the 220 kV Aygul-Tash substation of Osh branch of NEG Kyrgyzstan.
