Alexander Slavinsky Awarded Medal of Merit for Electrical Engineering

On 20 February 2018, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Izolyator Alexander Slavinsky, EngD was awarded a Medal of Merit for Electrical Engineering named after A. K. Antonov.

Medal of Merit for Electrical Engineering named after A. K. Antonov is awarded to the scientists and leaders of research institutions and production companies from electrical engineering, power industry, electronics, electrical machinery, electric drives and other fields and disciplines, who made a prominent input in establishment and development of electrical science and technology. The medal is also awarded for publications, textbooks on relevant electrical disciplines and creation of new equipment prototypes. Presidium of the Academy of Electrical Sciences of Russian Federation (AES RF) makes decisions on the nominees presented by the sector and regional divisions of AES RF and members of presidium by an open voting.

Alexander Slavinsky was awarded the medal following the decision of the Academy of Electrical Sciences of Russian Federation Presidium dated 14 February 2018.

The awarding ceremony was held as official part of the AES RF meeting, following the scientific panel “Current issues of electrical engineering”, dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the academy.
