On 21–25 May 2018, Dmitriy Orekhov, Sales Manager of Izolyator plant visited Indian power grid and electrical engineering companies.

He had business meetings and talks at the following companies:

  • Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited,
  • Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited,
  • Prime Meiden Ltd.,
  • Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited,
  • Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd.

Dr. Ashok Singh participated in all those meetings.

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited

On 21 May, Izolyator representative visited Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, the state regional power grid company of Karnataka.

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) is the sole electricity transmission and distribution company in state of Karnataka. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited is mainly vested with the functions of Transmission of power in the entire State of Karnataka and also Construction of Stations & Transmission Lines and maintenance of 400/220/110/66 KV Sub-Stations. Many new lines and Sub-Stations were added & existing stations were modified in the Transmission network.

At KPTCL, the guest was received by:

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited

On 22 May, Dmitriy Orekhov visited the state regional power grid company Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited.

Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) is an electric power transmission system operator owned by Government of Tamil Nadu. The transmission network expansion is aimed at evolving a national power grid to facilitate free flow of power across regional boundaries, raising the transmission voltage from 230 kV to 400 kV level. In order to evacuate bulk power from one region to another region, there is scope for enhancing the transmission capability to 765 kV level.

At TANTRANSCO, the guest was welcomed by:

On 23 May, our representative had a business meeting at the power equipment plant Prime Meiden Ltd.

Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited

On 24 May, Izolyator representative visited the state regional power grid company Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited.

The Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO) was founded in the result of India’s power industry reform. Initially, the power company of Andhra Pradesh State APSEB, which came into existence in 1959, was responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. In 1998, under Electricity Sector Reforms agenda, the State Government promulgated APSEB division into a generating company (APGENCO), a transmission company (APTRANSCO) and four distribution companies (APDISCOMs). In 2014 APTRANSCO was divided into regional network companies: TSTRANSCO and APTRANSCO.

At APTRANSCO the guest was received by:

The sides discussed common objectives, possible joint projects and optimal forms of interaction of the two companies, marking mutual benefit from the meeting, and agreed to develop business relations.

Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd.

On 25 May, our representative had talks at the state regional power grid company Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd.

Company has assumed the functions of intra-state transmission of electricity, State Transmission Utility and State Load Despatch Centre as its own business and not as an Agent of Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board.
