Visit of ATEF Group’s Plant

On 7 June 2018, Head of OEM Sales at Izolyator Maxim Zagrebin visited a the Large Power Transformer Plant, part of ATEF Group in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The ATEF Group is specialized in the manufacture of high-quality HV/ MV electrical equipment and turnkey substation installation for industrial, utility, transportation and energy sector customers. Headquartered in Baku, Azerbaijan, the company exports its electrical infrastructure expertise and product range, including transformers, reactors, switchgears, CTS and components, to 35 countries worldwide. The ATEF Group includes a Large Power Transformer Plant. Large Power Transformer Plant is designed for the mass production of high-quality transformers with power up to 1000 MVA and a voltage class up to 520 kV.

At the Large Power Transformer Plant of ATEF Group, several meetings took place with participation of Deputy Chairman Nikolay Molodetsky, Sales Director Farid Aliev, Chief Designer Redzhap Taisi, Chief Process Engineer Pavel Butyaev, Lead Engineer Chemist Subkhan Seferov, Secretary of the Chairman Firuddin Aliev.

The sides discussed current and future orders for Izolyator high-voltage bushings for completing ATEF power transformers and experience of RIP bushings operation at power facilities.

The sides paid a special attention to detailing efficient forms of cooperation and development of the mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the visit, the hosts arranged for a plant tour, introducing the guest to the production and testing technology of modern power transformers.
