Knowledge Day at the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System
On 5 December 2019, Izolyator plant took part in the seminar as part of the Knowledge Day of the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System.
Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System (FGC UES PJSC) is one of the largest in the world grid operators, responsible for operation and development of the unified national (all-Russian) power grid.
FGC UES PJSC operates in 77 regions of Russia, making a contribution to the achievement of strategic objectives of the social and economic development of Russian Federation and also ensuring power supply to 11 foreign countries.
There are over 143 thnd km high-voltage backbone power lines and 944 substations of various voltages under FGC UES’s control.

A joint seminar with FGC UES on the experience of operating high-voltage bushings produced by Izolyator plant was held in a video conference format, at which Izolyator was represented by Yury Nikitin, Chief Designer and Dmitry Mashinistov, Head of the SVN-Service department.
Seminar-videoconference ‘Operating experience with high-voltage bushings produced by the Izolyator plant’ as part of the FGC UES Knowledge Day
The seminar opened with the report of the Izolyator plant on the analysis and generalization of the experience of operating high-voltage bushings at the facilities of energy companies.
Then, representatives of Izolyator plant gave comprehensive answers to urgent questions of technical specialists of the branches of FGC UES on testing, storage and operation of high-voltage bushings. A significant number of questions were devoted to the features of the construction design and operation of bushings with internal RIN insulation, as the most advanced and promising.
The seminar was held with great practical benefit for all its participants, confirming the high efficiency of the direct dialogue between the HV product developers and operators of power equipment.
