Seminar for specialists of Belarusian State Production Association of Electric Power Industry Belenergo enterprises

On November 22, 2019, Izolyator held a seminar in Minsk for technical specialists of the Republican Unitary Enterprises of the Belarusian State Production Association of Electric Power Industry Belenergo.

State production association of electric power industry Belenergo (SPA Belenergo) organizes a reliable, secure and economically efficient operation and innovative development of production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric and thermal energy.

The Belenergo is controlled by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus.

The head office of Belenergo was represented at the seminar by Sergey Podolets, Lead Engineer of the Electrical Equipment Operation Department.

Izolyator Plant was represented by Maxim Osipov, Head of CIS Sales, and Viktor Kiryukhin, Lead Technical Support Specialist of the Commercial Service.

The organizational support of the seminar was provided by the Sagrat Commercial Private Unitary Enterprise (Sagrat), which supplies energy equipment and electrical products to Belarus. Ali Churaev, the founder of Sagrat and Dmitry Melnik, Director General of Sagrat also took active part in the seminar.

During the seminar, three presentations took place.

The presentation of Izolyator Plant 2019 was dedicated to the centuries-old history of the enterprise and its present day. The audience got acquainted with the main stages of the establishment and development of the plant, achievements in international cooperation, advanced production technologies, and the best production and testing equipment in the world.

In the presentation ‘Features of storage and operation of high-voltage bushings with RIP-insulation’, the most important requirements of factory instructions for ensuring the proper quality of operation of bushings with internal RIP-insulation at electric power enterprises were thoroughly reviewed and explained.

The presentation ‘Innovative developments: high voltage bushings with RIN-insulation’ revealed the advantages and manufacturing technology of solid RIN insulation (Resin Impregnated Nonwoven), developed by the Izolyator design bureau together with partners in order to increase the moisture resistance of the internal insulation of high-voltage bushings in difficult conditions or in cases of violation of the rules of bushings operation and storage.

Each presentation was followed by Q&A session with experts and took place in the form of a free dialogue.

All participants agreed that the seminar was held with great mutual benefit, significantly expanding the professional competencies of its participants.
