Visit of Leningradskaya NPP-2 Management Representatives

On 15 August 2019, representatives of the management of Leningradskaya NPP-2 paid a visit to Izolyator.

Leningrad NPP-2 is being erected as a substitution power plant within the premises of Leningrad NPP. The General Contractor is Titan-2 Concern, while Rosenergoatom Concern assumed the function of property owner and developer.

Leningrad NPP-2 project with pressurized water type reactors 1200 MW each meets all modern international safety requirements.

The first start of the No.1 power unit of Leningrad NPP-2 took place on 9 March 2018.

Leningradskaya NPP-2 was represented by Deputy Director of General Affairs Sergey Efimenko and Deputy Chief Engineer Electrical Equipment Alexander Rudnik.

Representative of Favorstroy Konstantin Ivanov also joined all the meetings.

Quality Director Alexander Novikov and Director of Strategic Sales Alexander Savinov received the visitors.

At the talks, the parties discussed the degree of completion of high-voltage bushings, intended for Leningradskaya NPP-2 and the plans on further cooperation considering the new product development by Izolyator.

Representatives of Leningradskaya NPP-2 visited the corporate museum and had an introduction to the milestones in Izolyator history and present-day achievements.

The hosts arranged for a tour over the production shops, where the guests were shown all the production process stages in the making and testing of high-voltage bushings with solid internal RIP and RIN insulation.

Upon the end of the plant tour, representatives of Leningradskaya NPP-2 spoke of the high level of the equipment and culture of production at Izolyator.

Summing up the results of the visit, the sides expressed satisfaction with the meetings and their intention to continue an efficient interaction in realization of joint projects.
