Meeting of Chief Executive Officer of Zavod Izolyator LLC Alexander Slavinsky with students of the National Research University of Electronic Technology

On November 11, 2019, Chief Executive Officer of Zavod Izolyator LLC, Dr. Alexander Slavinsky met with students of the National Research University of Electronic Technology.

National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) is an advanced university of Russia, training professionals in microelectronics, nanotechnology in electronics, information and telecommunication technologies, fundamental sciences as well as in economics, graphic design and linguistics.

The university is situated in Zelenograd, the center of Russian microelectronics and a quiet Moscow district.

The university is proud of its graduates successfully working in well-known hi-tech companies in Russia and around the world. MIET cooperates with leading universities of Europe and the USA, takes part in exchange programs for students, postgraduates and tutors.

The university implements programs of elite professional training together with a number of foreign leaders in electronics and information technologies.

In 1985, Alexander Zinovievich being in-service graduated from the Department of Evening Studies of the Physics and Technology Faculty of MIET with the qualification of engineer-physicist.

At MIET Slavinsky was welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Youth Relations, PhD in Sociology Dmitry Kovalenko and Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Prof. Sergei Gavrilov. A discussion was held on the development of cooperation in areas of common interest.

Meeting with students began with a welcome speech by Alexander Slavinsky and watching the episode of the ‘Development Vector’ program, prepared by MIET’s own television and telling about the life of Alexander Zinovievich.

Then, within the framework of the MIET Open Lecture Project, a lecture-conversation ‘From formula in conspectus to formula of success’ was held.

Students showed great interest in the possibility of personal communication with a successful graduate of MIET, the head of the enterprise, which is one of the leaders in the Russian electrical industry.

Alexander Zinovievich answered a wide variety of questions and shared his professional experience with the younger generation.

The meeting ended with a virtual tour for MIET students at the Izolyator plant.
