On 1 June 2020, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation thanked the experts of the Case-in International Engineering Championship.
Case-in International Engineering Championship is an international competition system for solving engineering cases for schoolchildren, students and young specialists in the fuel and energy and mineral resource sectors. The project is included in the platform ‘Russia is a country of opportunities’ and is being implemented in line with the Action Plan aimed at popularizing worker and engineering professions, approved by order of the Government of the Russian Federation. Since 2018, the championship has developed using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Fund. In 2019, the Championship entered the TOP-15 world Olympiads according to the version of the RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics).
On behalf of the Ministry, Anton Inyutsin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, expressed personal gratitude to each expert for their support and active participation in the project.
Among those noted with gratitude are the members of the CIGRE National Study Committee D1 (CIGRE NSC D1):
- Director of the Moscow representative office of Zavod Izolyator LLC, coordinator of the CIGRE NSC D1 Vladimir Ustinov;
- Engineer of the Moscow representative office of Zavod Izolyator LLC, secretary of the CIGRE NSC D1 Galina Ustinova;
- Head of the research sector of the High-Voltage Engineering, Electrical Insulation and Cable Technology department, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Dr. Alexander Monastyrsky;
- Chief Engineer of Dimrus Dr. Valery Rusov.
The organizers of this annual event also expressed thanks to the experts for their help in organizing the qualifying stages of the Student League of the VIII International Engineering Championship Case-in.
