Working Meeting of the Council of Specialists for Diagnostics of Power Electrical Equipment at the Engineering and Technical Center UralEnergoEngineering

On 9 October 2020, a remote working meeting of the Council of Specialists for Diagnostics of Power Electrical Equipment at the Engineering and Technical Center UralEnergoEngineering took place.

The Council of Specialists for Diagnostics of Power Electrical Equipment at the Engineering and Technical Center UralEnergoEngineering (Council at ETC UEE) is a public organization operating on a non-profit basis.

The key objective of the council is to organize information exchange on the most important problems of power equipment diagnostics with invitation of competent specialists regardless of their departmental affiliation.

At the annual plenary meetings of the Council at ETC UEE, both general and strategic trends of diagnostics and problems of diagnosing certain types of electrical equipment are considered.

The work of the council attracts the attention of a large number of technical managers and specialists representing energy companies, research institutes from different regions of Russia and abroad (Uzbekistan, China, Sweden), factories — manufacturers of electrical equipment and diagnostic devices.

Izolyator plant has been a member of the Council at ETC UEE with a decisive vote since 1994.

At Izolyator, the online meeting was attended by:
CEO of Zavod Izolyator LLC, Head of CIGRE National Study Committee D1, Member of the Council at ETC UEE, Dr. Alexander Slavinsky;
Head of Operations Support Service, Secretary of the Council at ETC UEE Marina Vladimirova;
Director of the Moscow branch of Izolyator plant, Member of the Council at ETC UEE Vladimir Ustinov;
Testing and Metrological Assurance Director Dmitry Ivanov.

The following issues were discussed at the working meeting:
- Report of the Chairman of the Council at ETC UEE Alexey Utepov on the work done;
- postponement of the XXVI plenary meeting of the council to April 2021 in Ekaterinburg, host — SVEL Group;
- admission to the council of two new members.
