The replacement of high-voltage bushings at the main supply centers of the Tula region has begun

On 16 September 2021, the press service of the Main power system of the Centre announced the start of replacing of high-voltage bushings in order to modernize equipment at the five largest power facilities of the Tula Region.

Rosseti FGC UESMain power system of the Centre (MPS Centre) operates on the territory of Central and North-Western Federal Districts. The service area of the branch includes 17 federal subjects with 38 million inhabitants. MPS Centre provides the electrical connection of the United power system of the Center with the power systems of the South, North-West, Volga, as well as interstate connections with Ukraine. MPS Centre is headquartered in Moscow. MPS Centre is a branch of Rosseti FGC UES.

Instead of outdated paper-oil-insulated bushings at Tula substations, their modern counterparts with solid internal RIP-insulation manufactured by Izolyator are being installed.

Replacement of high-voltage bushings will improve the reliability of power supply to cities, as well as large industrial enterprises located in the region.

These works are carried out as part of a repair campaign aimed at improving the reliability of the Tula power system.
