Specialists of Unipro got acquainted with the technology of production of high-voltage insulation equipment

On 20 August 2021, the Izolyator production complex received technical specialists from the Unipro generating company.

Unipro (E.ON Russia until June 2016) is the most efficient company of the thermal power generation sector in the Russian Federation.

Unipro consists of five heat power plants. Company’s core operations comprise electric power and capacity generation and sales. Unipro is operating at the Russian market of distributed generation and engineering as well.

Uniper SE, the major shareholder of Unipro, is a leader in the traditional power generation sector. The Company operates in European countries, Russia and several other countries of the world. The company is headquartered in Moscow.

The purpose of the visit is making acquaintance with modern technologies for the production and testing of high-voltage insulation equipment.

A thorough introduction to the technological stages of high-voltage bushings with solid internal RIN and RIP insulation manufacturing took place during a tour of the Izolyator Production Complex. At the same time, comprehensive explanations were given on all technological operations.

At Izolyator-AKS, Unipro specialists got acquainted with its products — high-voltage cable accessories for voltages up to 252 kV inclusive. Ellada Ismailova, Deputy Director General of Izolyator-AKS, presented the range of equipment and the complete sequence of production stages.

Upon completion of the ‘production’ part of the agenda, the guests visited the museum of the Izolyator plant, where documentary evidence of the glorious century-old and recent history of the enterprise is collected.
