Staff members — participants of the advanced training program got acquainted with the activities and structure of CIGRE

On 2 March 2021, a class was held for Izolyator employees as part of the advanced training program in the Company Management disciplines — ‘The regulatory documents for power transformers and high-voltage bushings. Russian National Committee of International Council on Large Electric Systems’.

This advanced training program was developed and implemented by Izolyator corporate university in cooperation with leading specialists of the enterprise and invited experts.

The Izolyator Corporate University is a system of training of employees of the company and partner companies, built within the corporate ideology based on uniform concept and methodology.

The university's activities in the field of additional professional education are licensed in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation: license for educational activities No. 78453 dated Aug/04, 2020 of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region.

Training at the corporate university will be based on modular principle allowing to easily adapt educational programs to the rapidly changing demands of today and customer requirements.

The lecture was delivered by the Director of the Moscow branch of Izolyatorp Plant, Coordinator of CIGRE National Study Committee D1 Vladimir Ustinov.

In the first part of the lecture, acceptance tests and diagnostic methods for power transformers and high-voltage bushings were considered.

The listeners familiarized themselves with the relevant domestic and international regulatory documents, as well as with the peculiarities of the use of power transformers and high-voltage bushings.

The second part of the lecture was devoted to the activities of Russia in the International Council on Large Electric Systems (Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Électriques — CIGRE) — the largest international non-governmental and non-profit organization in the field of the electric power industry.

The structure of the organization, the role of the Russian National Committee of International Council on Large Electric Systems (RNC CIGRE), the specialization of the CIGRE work groups and the latest news of the organization were presented to the listeners.

Izolyator is a leading science and technology partner to RNC CIGRE: the permanent CIGRE National Study Committee D1 has been established on the basis of the enterprise in the thematic area ‘Materials and Emerging Test Techniques’.
