Testing of bushings for the National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan

On 10–12 May 2021, high-voltage bushings were tested at the Izolyator Production Complex with the participation of representatives of the National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan.

National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is an energy company that transports electric power via ETLs across the entire Kyrgyz Republic to distribution companies and large industrial consumers.
National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is also a system operator that provides centralized control over the national grid of Kyrgyzstan.
The task of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan is to transmit power via national 126, 252 and 550 kV power lines to the consumers and control over the network and interstate and republican power flow modes.
The company is headquartered in Bishkek.

The plant ran acceptance tests of 126, 252 and 550 kV voltage class bushings intended for National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan.

In accordance with the terms of the contract, a test inspection was received, in which the following representatives of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan took part:

• Ulanbek Zhumaliev, General Director of the Chui enterprise of high-voltage electrical networks, a branch of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan;
• Bolot Batyrbekov, Head of the Central Insulation, Surge Protection and Testing Service;
• Yryskeldi Myktybekov, Deputy Head of the Operation and Repair Service;
• Gulgiza Massimova, 2nd category Engineer of the Procurement and Logistics department.

The Izolyator Production Complex was represented by the employees of the sales department in the neighboring countries as responsible for all the inspection activities: Director Maxim Osipov and Manager Anna Zubakova.

The tests were successful, confirming the full compliance of the characteristics of the bushings with the requirements of regulatory documents.

In addition, National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan specialists performed an external examination and check of the complete set of the bushings before delivery, which also passed without any comments.

The guests were received by the CEO of Zavod Izolyator LLC Alexander Slavinsky and a productive dialogue took place on the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two enterprises, taking into account the long-term needs of National Power Grid of Kyrgyzstan in high-voltage insulating equipment, as well as the key trends in the global and regional electrical markets.
