The corporate Sports contest dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Izolyator plant is open

On 15 April 2021, the ceremonial opening of the corporate Sports contest, timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the Izolyator plant, took place.

In accordance with the internal policy of the development of the corporate sports movement, the corporate sports contest pursues the following goals and objectives:
- promotion and development of physical culture and sports;
- strengthening the health of staff members, promoting a healthy lifestyle;
- popularization of playing sports;
- organization of high-quality, interesting leisure time for the company employees;
- formation and development of corporate culture.

This sports festival is held in the anniversary year for Izolyator, which makes it special, fills it with deep meaning and gives it great importance. Here, the glorious sports traditions of the staff of the enterprise, inextricably linked with its long standing and eventful history, are reflected and manifested at a new level.

Sport has always been a faithful companion of all generations of factory workers, gave strength and contributed to team building. It has been a favorite form of leisure at all times.

So, already in the 20s of the last century, men's and women's sports clubs were especially popular, where Izolyator employees were engaged in wrestling, gymnastics on apparatus, acrobatics and sports games.

Football and gorodki teams of the plant met in traditional calendar matches with representatives of other Moscow enterprises. The plant workers were actively involved in shooting sports, passed the standards for receiving the Voroshilovsky shooter badge.

The opening ceremony of the corporate sports contest dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Izolyator plant began with a parade and lineup of all its participants in the company's own sports hall, where all the scheduled matches will be held. In the line there are the participants of the upcoming tournaments in the following sports: futsal, volleyball, badminton, table tennis.

The first to address the audience was CEO of Zavod Izolyator LLC, co-chairman of the organizing committee of the corporate sports contest Alexander Slavinsky. In his speech, he recalled the historical continuity of the sports traditions of the enterprise, wished good performance and success to all the participants of the competitions and stressed the key point: may the strongest win, and ultimately the unity and team spirit of Izolyator's team will win.

Then the floor was taken by the CEO of Massa LLC, chairman of the organizing committee of the sports contest Sergey Moiseev. He noted that the contest gathered the largest number of participants — over 70 people, and a new kind of sport — table tennis — was included in the program.
